70 new resources today!

At the beginning of the holidays I set myself the target of making 52 new resources, one for each day of my holiday.  Well I've surpassed that, and here are 70 new resources!  You'll see all the ones we've featured on social media recently and more.

As always, if there is anything in particular that you would like, you only have to ask.

Another 30 new resources today

I've just uploaded another 30 new resources, mostly for the LiPS Listening Project.  There are now 24 activities for French and 38 for Spanish.  You can see the themes here:

I'm hoping there will also be some German ones in time.

The most recent resources don't yet have audio, but I have uploaded the resources which contain the transcript, so that you can use them by reading the text yourself.

If you are a member of the Languages in Primary Schools Facebook Group and would like to help out with writing scripts and/or recording audio, please do a search within the group and you'll find the link to the Google Form where you can express your interest.

The summer holidays are finally in sight, and we have 7 weeks to enjoy not 6 this year!  I've calculated that I am going to have 52 days of holiday altogether, so I shall set myself my usual challenge of making one new resource for each day of holiday.  I'm intending to do more Studio and Viva resources to add to what is already on the site, but please drop me a line if there's anything specific you'd like, especially for secondary (which I don't teach) or French (which I don't teach!)

Have a great summer, everyone.  You've done an amazing job in very difficult circumstances this year, and you deserve it.

33 new resources today

I've just uploaded 33 new resources, nearly all of them for Primary Spanish.

Since the last post on this blog, I've uploaded a lot of resources to the LiPS Listening Project, and there are many more to come.  They are intended for Key Stage 2 learners, but secondary colleagues will doubtless find some useful activities too.

I've also added a page with some resources for Euro 2020.

Interactive resources update

Today I have finally got round to deleting all the interactive games that no longer work because they relied on Flash.

I've also started the long task of repopulating some of the games sections, starting with French months and numbers.

The Spanish and German interactive activities are still looking a little sparse.

If there are any interactive games that would be useful to you and your students, please let me know.  I'd much rather make activities that I know are going to be used.

54 new resources today

I've just finished uploading 54 new resources, all of them for primary Spanish.  They have been generated by my video lessons over the last 10 weeks or so.  There are doubtless some that will be of use to KS3 colleagues as well.

They are mainly for:

My life has been taken over recently by my work for Oak National Academy (primary languages), my poetry books and, most of all, creating pre-recorded video lessons for my 16 classes.  If you too have been making video lessons, you'll know how time-consuming it is, and how unlike planning and preparing normal lessons.  Now those things are finished and we are going back to school I should have some time to do more work on things like the Key Stage 3 sentence builders.

63 new resources on the website today

I've just uploaded 63 new resources to the website, the vast majority for Primary Spanish.  If you didn't already know, I've been making video lessons for my classes since the beginning of term (all available here) and this has involved changing considerably the PowerPoints and other resources that I usually use.

You'll also find:

All of these resources are available to you absolutely free of charge.  I have not been and will not be paid for making them.  Please consider making a donation to the future of the website
